            It felt like the halo

            Sunset's three daughters

               Even so

               Ruthless in rhyme

               So even, sublime.

 

            Night's fasteners catch

            On casements ajar

            Shadow Fang's singing

            From ever so far

            Brought hope

            To the Woodsman

            As he stood by his axe

            In the starlight

            That's bringing

            Shadow Fang's singing

               So even serene

               Seductive divine

               Rhymes without season

               Copulants in time.

 

                  So even

                  So easy

                  Ruthless

                  Sublime . . .
