HAARP: The High-frequency Active Auroral Research Program
SECRETS OF THE HOLY LANCE
Adventures Unlimited Press
A true Renaissance man, George Piccard is accomplished in many disparate fields: computer technician, business administrator, muscian, writer, father, husband and my best friend. Together we wrote SECRETS OF THE HOLY LANCE.
A Microsoct trained computer technician George rose through the Information Technology ranks to become the head of the IT Department for a major medical diagnostic firm. Moving on up, he was appointed to be that firm's Director of Operations (similar to a Chief Operating Officer (COO)). After several years as the Number Two Man there he chucked it all and is now an independent Medical IT consultant.
In 1999 his writings emerged from the world of underground zines and paranoid websites with the publication of his first book, LIQUID CONSPIRACY: JFK, LSD, the CIA, Area 51 & UFOs.
"Liquid Conspiracy" is the perfect follow-up to another book we featured--"Mind Control, Oswald, & JFK." (Both book available from the very cool Adventures Unlimited Press.) Conspiracy theory books, on the whole, are one of the best genres out there. They mix political history, scientific history, and cultural history with a healthy dose of the whodunit. And unlike classic mysteries, the final pages give you no resolution on who held the smoking gun. Very post-modern. "Liquid Conspiracy" is nothing short of epic. This one little book ties just about every conspiracy together. They connect medieval religious groups to international bankers to Nazi Mad scientists to CIA mind control experiments to UFO's to Area 51 to the JFK and Robert Kennedy assassinations to the Heaven's Gate cult, Waco, AIDS and beyond. Whew! It's a strange roller coaster of shadow science and back alley spooks.

When not researching political conspiracy or the intersection between Quantum Physics and The Occult, George has been the lead strummer and principal singer/song-writer for a string of Reno-based dance bands since highschool. One of those bands, The Atomiks, got out 3 CDs and an EP before breaking up last year. One write-up on the band read:
Throaty as the roar of a big V-8, soft as the ride of Coup de Ville, The Atomiks put the pedal to the metal with high-energy dance numbers that have a 'roots of rock' quasi-rockabilly sensibility with a pre-apocalyptic edge.
The driving drums of Diesel Patriot, the slick and stylish stand-up bass of Slide Kodiak, and the brilliantly quirky song writing, guitar and lead vocals of Crash Delano [George], takes the audience on a white knuckle road trip from the sleazy bars of Tijuana to romantic Catalina Island, to swingin’ at Reno’s own Peyton Place.
Adherents to the Church of Rock ‘n’ Roll Redemption, The Atomiks offer whiskey baptisms and protection from the aliens from Planet 9 to their flocks of followers awaiting the Second Coming of the UFO Jesus. Putting the Cult in Culture since 1972, an Atomiks show is not to be missed!
