Justice Is Dead

Injustice and The Cause, in a few thousand years, will be forgotten.
Until the Peace of Forgetfulness comes
Voices will cry out for justice, and receive injustice
Voices will cry out in suffering, and receive more suffering
Lips will mouth the word "justice"
But hearts will scream for vengeance
And corpses are piled on top of corpses in the name of the dead.
The dead are dead
Adding to their number will not diminish them,
Let them lie
And let us get on with living.
Live
Live so that others may see what living is
Live without giving pain, so that other may take comfort
Live as though Peace matters
And it might.
